Debriefing Results
Suggested steps to debrief AgileBrain results
STEP 1
Orient your client to the AgileBrain framework
Watch the video together and/or use the “blank” AgileBrain model
- Introduce yourself to the 4 life domains and their polarity (+/-)
- Introduce the 3 levels of existence
- Briefly walk through each column, linking the levels
STEP 2
Ease into Results
Begin with the most settled areas
- Check for agreement that these areas are indeed settled
- Don’t focus on “structure” of results yet (row or column patterns)
User probing questions throughout your discussion
Move to moderately activated needs
STEP 3
Shift focus toward areas of activation
(those with pie charts)
Begin with needs that are majority positive
Move to needs that are split or majority negative
STEP 4
Focus on column patterns
Explore any consistent activation within a domain
STEP 5
Focus on row patterns
Explore any consistent activation within a level
STEP 6
Summarize results
Recap what” rang true” in the results
Touch on any areas that didn’t quite fit or may need more reflection
STEP 7
Probe for opportunity
Explore any areas, if any, where opportunity and motivation for change exist
Explore what specific steps might be appropriate
