Promotion vs. Prevention

AgileBrain measures both positive and negative emotional needs, often referred to as promotion needs (“wanting more of the good”) and prevention needs (“wanting less of the bad”). AgileBrain does so by exposing you to both positive and negative images that are validated to correspond to each emotional cell. The tables below show those positive and negative emotional needs.

Our emotional needs exist in relation to each other. Fulfilling those needs can be facilitated by understanding their relationship to other needs.
