Keith’s Profile

Keith recently left the corporate world after a long and successful career. In semi-retirement he and a partner launched a life coaching business. Then COVID hit. Keith heard about AgileBrain via another coaching group and wanted to learn more.

Keith also shows elevated response in Safety and Success with negative feelings there too. Keith’s other emotional needs are quiet.

Interpreting Keith’s Profile

The coach started the discussion in the “here and now” of Experiential emotions (the middle row). There, his results were exceptionally quiet. Keith said, “after decades fitting in at a large company, I’m finally being me (Authenticity) and doing what I love (Immersion).”

Keith’s Spiritual domain was also quiet. Keith explained, “I’m a practicing humanist and long-time meditator. Yeah, I’m pretty settled Spiritually.”

Probing Deeper with Keith

What Keith didn’t count on was his partner getting COVID just after they launched the business. “I lost most of the freedom (Autonomy) that I had expected in retirement and I’m doing things that are out of my comfort zone (Potential); things I counted on my partner to do.”

Keith added, “my partner is recovering but I’m worried if we’re going make a go of it (Success) and if anyone will ever realize everything I’ve done (Recognition) to keep the business afloat.”

The ‘Now What?’ for Keith

Keith is working to rebalance the workload with his partner as his health recovers. They’ve hired a part time assistant to take over scheduling, digital marketing and billing. And he’s planning a much overdue retirement trip to reward himself for all his extra efforts.
